CARING FOR PLANET
Sustainability in today’s day and age, means to be regenerative, to give back more than we take, to support the land we farm from, create from and the world which supports us, nutritionally. Ways in which we are doing this, we hope sets the standard for giving back to country, not just taking from it.
We chose to promote health and wellness for the everyday, not just for the luxury cabinets, and so it was a double edged sword to decide glass would be too delicate, and too heavy to expect our community to carry it around in their bags everyday.
We have taken the steps to use 100% recycled and recyclable plastic containers. These have been manufactured to prevent sunlight from reaching the produce inside, meaning they can be used again and again.
We are always striving for a better way, and so our goal for 2023 is to create refillable bags for our containers also, which are 200g rather than 100g, to encourage less waste.
As our products are either Australian Grass Fed & Grass Finished, Organic, Free Range Bovine products or South Pacific Ocean Sustainable Sourced, Wild Caught Cod, it was crucial for us to support the ecosystem and the land as much as we can, as a small Australian business.
To produce, promote and select Grass Fed & Grass Finished we set ourselves aside from other Collagen and Beef Liver businesses by avoiding Grains, which reduced CO2, manufacturing and land being used. We choose to eat Grass Fed and Organic foods, so it only made sense to carefully select the same quality ingredients for our supplements.
In addition, we have partnered with ‘Clean the Reef - SeaBin’. Seabin Smart Tech removes floating plastics as small as 2mm, filtering 600,000L of water per day from oil and surface pollutants. We donate $1 from every sale which removes 1.2kg of plastic and debris from the sea.
